Glenbrook Day Camp's Unbound Program
For youth and young adults, aged 14 to 25 years old, with special needs
Unbound offers individualized life skills programming for youth and young adults, aged 14 to 25 years old, with special needs. Each participant will be involved in creating the details of their experience with a team of staff to ensure that each program is meaningful and transferable.
General topics include:
Personal/Group Communication: Building upon any method of existing communication skills, understanding how others communicate and portraying/understanding emotions.
Work Related Skills: Interests outside of the home that may lead to employment/volunteering and addressing the different experiences and skills and supports needed to be successful in the community.
Healthy Living Education: Exploring areas of healthy eating, the importance of exercise and lifestyle choices.
Independent Life Skills: Future goals and desires, independent living skills and making connections and networks.
Glenbrook Day Camp offers a warm and supportive environment to house this unique experience and offers ample opportunity for individuals to stretch their wings and share the added excitement of traditional adventure camp activities!

Unbound 2011 Registration Costs:
All fees stated in Canadian Funds.
- 1 week: $355
- 2 weeks: $685
- 3 weeks: $995
- 4 weeks: $1,290
- 5 weeks: $1,560
- 6 weeks: $1,830
- 7 weeks: $2,100
- 8 weeks: $2,300
Please, if you need financial assistance, Glenbrook has established a fund to help families who qualify send their children to camp. For more information, or to donate to the Hand-in-Hand program, please contact the office.
